The company operates as a family business engaged in the manufacture and distribution of children's furniture and childcare articles in Spain and internationally. With registered head office located in Sollana, Valencia (Spain), the company was established in 1973 with the founding of the company Francisco García Moreno located in the town of Silla and mainly dedicated to the manufacture of wooden cradles. The company is the fourth largest European company in the manufacture of cradles and furniture for children. It has a production plant in Sollana, Valencia and a warehouse 8 km away. Its products are marketed and sold to large retail outlets and furniture and childcare shops in Spain, Portugal and other countries. Its brands include: Micuna - cradles, high-chairs, baths and matching textiles; Babymobel - children's furniture; Nummies - ceramic decoration; Maderarium - decorative articles; and Micuna Basic - ideal product line such as second cradle, high-chair or bath. Its mission is to protect children, so that children may grow and strengthen their capacity for initiative, independence, and personal development in order to achieve their correct social insertion through products that help to develop those qualities in children.
